Freemasonry teaches that there is one God and men of all religions worship that one God using a variety of different names.   In a Masonic Lodge, all join in corporate prayer to the Grand Architect of the Universe, (GAOTU).  Since all these religions contradict one another, this must be untrue.  This is a ruse to cover who is really getting the worship. 

One hint is all the ancient Egyptian statues and pictures they use.  They use "The All-seeing Eye", which is symbolic of the Egyptian demon-god Osiris.  They role play the story of Osiris' death in the story of Hiram Abiff.

But then again,  they state that the Hindus called him Krishna; the Chinese, Kioun-tse; the Persians, Sosiosch; the Chaldeans, Dhouvanai; the Egyptians, Horus; Plato, Love; the Scandinavians, Balder; the Christians, Jesus; Masons, Hiram.  The Babylonian demon, Tammuz is also called Krishna and Horus.

But then again, Lucifer is known as the "Light Bearer."  At the initiation of each degree, the initiates ask for and are offered "The Light", if they continue down the Masonic path.  Men who have been through the 33rd and final degree are told the light is still further down the path somewhere.  With Jesus dismissed as "the light", that leaves Lucifer.
